Supporting our clients
Tuesday, July 27th, 2010
Christie’s Photographic believes in supporting it’s partner hotels. We had the opportunity to not only sponsor but also provided candid photography in the annual Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotel’s Emergency Employee Fundraiser. A great time was had by all during the annual bowling tournament. Bob Christie, Keith Thrash and Dawn Owen participated by having a team that bowled. They did have a mystery player who scored better than all three. The mystery player was a combination of Bob, Dawn and Keith taking turns.
Recently in Orlando
Wednesday, July 14th, 2010Recently, Orlando had (7) photographers with lights and backgrounds they (14) assistants for one job at the Hilton Bonnet Creek Resort. Not only did we provided the staff but we also provided prints onsite. Make sure that when you have a large event that your Professional Photography Company can handle everything that is stated in the proposal. Questions to ask..
1. How many photographers do you have on staff?
2. What is the largest job you have completed in one day?
3. What type of liability i
nsurance and what is your coverage?
4. Ask for samples of the their work.
5. What is the policy if we change items on-site?
6. Make sure you get everything in writing.
Professional Event Photography
Monday, July 12th, 2010” I have my own camera” So you ask yourself ”Why do I need to hire a Professional Event Photographer?” Here are some urban myths regarding Professional Event Photography.
1. Professional Event Photography is too expense…. Not true… Your ROI can be based on the documentation photos that your photographer took. You need to make sure that the photographer is professional trained because Seeing is Believing and a photo is worth 1000 words..
2. I have my own camera so I can point and shot….. true however as creative as you are we have staff photographer that have been in the industry for over 27 years. They are trained to capture angles, lights, and environmental atomsphere in a way that will bring your audience back to that moment.. Making those that were not present wish they were present and making your next event even better..
3. Not in the budget this year. Most events have a Marketing Budget that your photographic needs can be placed in because you are going to use the photos for Marketing your upcoming future events.
So hiring a Professional Event Photographer actually saves you time and potentially adds to your ROI..

So, you have a Corporate Event?
Monday, June 21st, 2010Corporate Photography Services have been offered by Christies Photographic Studios for over 28 years. In today’s economy ROI is so important to corporations. Photographs can add ROI to any event documentation. The saying is “A photo is worth a thousand words”. So, picture this, you are about to present to a large client and you have nothing to show them. Will they choose your company? (Maybe / Maybe Not) If you had hired a Professional Photography Company the photos could have shown last year’s event or your latest product on display, assisting you in getting this large client. So the next time you are thinking about your budget make sure you include a Professional Photographer to document your event.
Travelling Photographer with Conferences
Monday, June 14th, 2010Retaining a photographic company who can travel with you can yield many benefits.
- First, you know the quality you will receive which is very important as you have spent a lot of time and money to create a powerful learning and/or sales environment. These photos can and will be used for years to market future programs by showing the success’s of the past.
- Secondly, by travelling with your company the photographers learn what you and your staff desire within the photographic world. This makes both you and your company familiar and comfortable with the end product. Also by having the same photographers, you as the meeting planner will have one less item to worry about.
A traveling photographer shouldn’t be as much about cost as it is about capturing the essence of your event thereby creating innumerable marketing opportunities all the while keeping you and your team satisfied.
