Spring Break in Daytona Beach Incentive Style with SITE!

Monday, April 23rd, 2012

Last week Christie’s was lucky enough to be one of the sponsors for the SITE meeting held in Daytona Beach Florida!

We all had a terrific time while learning new skills, making new friends and finally experiencing all the sights and sounds that Daytona had to offer.

We started off Golfing at the world famous LPGA International golf course that has been the site to several LPGA tournaments.  Some of us hit a hole in one and some of us…well we would rather let that go unsaid, if you understand what we are saying.

There was indulging at the Spa at the Shores Resort & Spa for some pampering and an Eco-cruise only the Intracoastal Waterways as well as Tandem Skydiving.

There were unbelievable seminars to attend so that we may learn more about the Incentive end of the hospitality business.  We had the opportunity to meet some of the movers and shakers on the incentive business and pick their brains for ways to become one of their all-important business partners.

The finale was starting our engines with a VIP tour of the Daytona International Speedway and a lunch sponsored by the Richard Petty Driving Experience.

What a wonderful way to spend our time with a couple of hundred new friends in Daytona and most of all learning a new skill set.

You hit one out of the park SITE and thank you for allowing Christie’s Photographic Studios for being a part of it all!

TSE 2011 Follow-up

Monday, January 31st, 2011

WOW!!  What a great TSE conference this year in Phoenix.  From the amazing education to the new technology on the show floor.  Check out these Wire FREE LED lights that were the talk of the attendees.  What a great tool for all the Event Producers out there….  WIRE FREE!  only takes 15 minutes to set up and we all know how long the wired ones take.   Another great thing about these is when you have professional photos done there are NO wires in the shot…    I have attached their link to this blog for everyone to enjoy.  Looking forward to TSE 2012 in TAMPA, FL….

Branding Photography

Thursday, January 13th, 2011

We all know that branding is the single most important part of a Corporation, but what about Associations and Non-profits?  A great example of branding is the PINK Ribbon, we all know who that is and what it stands for….   In today’s economy you need to make sure that your brand is always in front of the consumer.  What a better way then sitting on their desk at work within a frame to remind them of a feeling from an event they attended.  Remember during your next Golf Outing, Gala, Conference, Tradeshow, etc hirer a professional photography company that specializes in branding and will assist you in maximizing your ROI.

Incentive Travel Photography

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010

Make sure when you are planning your next incentive trip you add photographic documentation to your budget.  What a great way to create an incentive for your sales staff to exceed their goals for next years trip, by showing them this past trip.   Incentive Trips have received some negative press these days.  We can change that by showing the volunteer hours these trips include through Press Releases and Media outlets through photography.   So, the next time, you are planning an incentive trip remember to book your professional photographer to document the event.

This year Christie’s Photographic was hired as the event photographer for the amazing Orlando WOW Awards.  What an amazing night and experience with some of the industry’s best!  We enjoyed capturing the detailed decor and design and photographing classic memories between the friends and professionals of Orlando’s Event Planning Organizations.

We would also like to congratulate Warren Dietel and Puff ‘n Stuff, a Central Florida Catering Company, for winning 2 awards this year. You can learn about Puff ‘n Stuff’s current news and event photographs on their Central-Florida Catering Blog.
