Michael started his seminar off with a bang and proceeded to knock out 10 of the hottest trends in the Event Industry.  This was his 11th anniversary and his last one.    One of the most popular and anticipated seminars of the show and we were lucky enough to be featured.

Our EventPhotoTracker is taking the event industry by storm, and pleasing many planners and production companies.  Please look at our site www.eventphototracker to learn more about service that Christie’s has made available to our valuable clients.

Thank you Michael for including us in your seminar and good luck with your new t.v. show!

The Art of Trade Show Photography

Friday, December 16th, 2011

Trade Show Photography can be tricky and yet so simple.  When you are contracting trade show photography the client should tell you exactly what you they want and what they don’t want.  For example:  Do they want people in their booth?  Do they want action shots of their staff interacting with attendees?, how do we get the client message thru our camera lens to translate into the clients brand, these are just a few very important questions to make sure you ask you trade show client.

You as the photographer should also know your venue.  Here in Las Vegas we are extremely lucky to have several locations that we can host a trade show.  One of these locations is the Sands Expo and Convention Center.  This center has many levels and lots of different sized meeting space.  They are also connected to a major property – The Palazzo & Venetian.  Remember that when you work in a convention center you should always research your rules, what equipment will you need to get your “shot”, what times are they open, dock space and so on.

Research is the key to good photography not only for trade shows but special events as well.

Trade Show Photography….Why?

Friday, October 7th, 2011

There are a lot of reasons to hire a professional photographer for your trade show.  Christies’ Photographic Studios understands the world of trade show
photography.  The Christie’s team knows that documentation is an important part of your trade show.  Knowing what you did the previous years would
help you decide the design of your booth.

Would you like to increase visitors into your booth?  Why not use a professional photographer in your booth with impersonators or your CEO for picture opportunities.  How about a green screen with customized graphics; you can then give the prints to your customers as a take away.

Branding is always important to you as the trade show exhibitor.  You may also do this with a photographer that understands the trade show world.  The Christie’s team understands this and would love to be a part of your next trade show!

Recently in Orlando

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

Recently, Orlando had (7) photographers with lights and backgrounds they (14) assistants for one job at the Hilton Bonnet Creek Resort.  Not only did we provided the staff but we also provided prints onsite. Make sure that when you have a large event that your Professional Photography Company can handle everything that is stated in the proposal.  Questions to ask..

1.  How many photographers do you have on staff?

2.  What is the largest job you have completed in one day?

 3.  What type of liability insurance and what is your coverage?

4.  Ask for samples of the their work.

5.  What is the policy if we change items on-site?

6. Make sure you get everything in writing.
